I'm a first-year Media Production student at Toronto Metropolitan University who loves graphic design, fonts, logos, photography, and generally anything creative.
In terms of a creative process, I’m a big fan of throwing things at the wall until they stick. I’m more than aware that the first draft is far from the best draft, and I’m not afraid to take my time to get the perfect end result. Oftentimes, my projects start off in one direction only to end up somewhere completely different - and that’s what I love about it: getting to collaborate with people who have an entirely different vision of a project than I do, and I look forward to continuing working with a wide range of creatives in my post-secondary ventures.
As far as why I make what I make? I don’t know - it just comes to mind, I guess. That’s not to say I don’t care about what I do - it’s actually the exact opposite of that. By creatively acting on ideas or inspiration that comes to mind, whether it be trying to duplicate an image or ad from real life, take inspiration from a movie, or just a really cool photo opportunity, my spontaneous approach to creativity is, in my personal opinion, the driving force behind my creative success.
